I am so NOT a morning person but if it means capturing your session with that perfect light, then I'm in! I am passionate about preserving your memories with beautiful and candid photographs. There is nothing more satisfying then capturing a newborn's first gassy smile, a one year old's first bite of birthday cake or the moment when a pregnant Mama gets to feel her most beautiful. It is my job to make your photos amazing and I am pretty dang good at my job. When you book with me you get a different type of experience, I become your #1 hype girl and will walk you through every step of the way.
My personal approach to photography is to capture genuine human connection and to create images where you can feel the emotion just by looking at the photograph. Random facts about yours truly
I bet you are wondering why my business name is "Piper & Rue" when my name is actually Haley. It is quite simple really, Piper is my wild-eyed and beautiful daughter. When we welcomed her to our family, I couldn't stop taking pictures of her. I instantly went out and bought a professional camera and started documenting every aspect of her childhood. This quickly led to me wanting to help others document their Motherhood & children's stories. Nothing makes me happier then getting the "OMG these are beautiful" texts from a Mama who does not have many pictures of her and her kids, especially candid ones.
Long story short, these kids of mine are my life and I do it all for them. The late nights, the spit up stained t-shirts, all of it. Just like you do for your littles, so let's team up and tell your story.
